Harness racing return to Ahoskie's Atlantic District Fairground on Saturday May 21st. Gates open at noon with music, games for the younger set and a variety of good food. Racing starts at 2 pm with a field of 12 horses  expected. Opening ceremonies will feature a parade of horse teams from the greater Roanoke Chowan region.
